It was an honor and privilege having Pastor Ernie L. Murray Sr. as my Pastor, Spiritual Leader, Teacher, and Employer for over 20 years. Not only did he Pray for me as a member of St. Thomas, he prayed for my family as well. I’m thankful for the opportunities he gave me as Church Secretary and Teacher. Pastor Murray’s love for God, his family, the Church and the community will never be forgotten. My life and walk with Christ was enhanced by his leadership. I was inspired to follow his leadership as he followed Christ.

My family has been under pastor Murray leadership for 45+ years from the old church into his vision of the new church and the family life center. Pastor was truly a man of God and a man sent by God. I’m going to miss his saying of “baby what’s wrong” whenever a member would walk up to him and ask for prayer. He would stop what he was doing and pray even if was in the parking lot. I know seasons change but I will MISS my pastor. There is only one Pastor Murray. the care and prayers he has given me and my family Will NEVER be forgotten. I know God is saying my good and faithful servant job well done !!!!
