Charles “Chuck” Lowery, 76, passed away on November 16, 2025, in Jacksonville, Florida. Born on May 9, 1949, in Sioux City, Iowa, Chuck led a life marked by dedication, service, and quiet generosity.

Chuck served honorably in the United States Navy for 25 years. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he rose to the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer (SCPO), earning the respect of his peers through steadfast leadership and commitment. His military career reflected a deep sense of duty and loyalty to those he served alongside.

Following his retirement from the Navy, Chuck continued his service to others through more than two decades with the United States Postal Service. Known for his reliability and warm demeanor, he became a trusted presence in his community—offering not only efficiency but also kindness in every interaction.

Chuck had a natural ability to connect with people. With an open heart and easy conversation, he made lasting impressions through everyday acts of kindness. His generosity was felt deeply by those fortunate enough to know him.

He is remembered with much love by his wife, Elizabete Lowery; his brother Eric Lowery and sister-in-law Tamy; nephews Matthew Lowery, Eric Lowery Jr., Josh Lowery, and Billy Nash; and many cousins who shared meaningful bonds with him.

Chuck was preceded in death by his mother Vera Lowery; father Charles William Lowery; and sister Patricia Lowery Ward.

A funeral service celebrating Chuck’s life will be held in Jacksonville, Florida.
