Obituary of Yolanda Gail Chatfield

Yolanda Gail Chatfield passed this way on August 13, 1963. In Jacksonville, Florida she was the Last button on Leonard & Ida Bell's coat. (# 16). She transitioned from her earthly life to an eternal life on June 3, 2020. She attended public school In Jacksonville, FL (F through 12th grades) in the graduating class of William M. Raines High School, class of 1981. She was a softball player. She dedicated her life to Christ and was a member of Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church. After graduating from high school, she enlisted in the United States Navy, and served with pride and distinction with 29 years of dedicated service. She advanced in ranks from an E-1 to E~9 as an enlisted sailor. Gail was preceded in death by her parents: Leonard and Ida Bell Chatfield, siblings Keith White Randall Chatfield; Gottfried Chatfield; John Chatfield, Cassandra Chatfield. To carry out her legacy she leaves her siblings: Gwendolyn George; Marsharine Calhoun (Ronnie); Anna M. Durham; Phyllis Mike; Kenneth White; Lemanuel R. Chatfield Tracy R. Chatfield (Vanessa); Louisa Robinson, Charles Chatfield, Winfred (Corman) Chatfield. Myrtle Chatfield; Thirty-five nieces and nephews; Sixty Great nieces & nephews; Ten Great-great nieces and nephews; Aunts: Mary White; Annie Laura White; Elderly Cousins: Earlene Menefee and Sollie Mitchell; devoted and dedicated friends Pamela Dallas and Valerie Pugh, the Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church Family; St. Andrew Missionary Baptist Church Family; St. Paul Lutheran Church Family; and a mass of friends.
