I wish to past on my Condolences to Martha’s family, friends and colleagues of her death. I was saddened to learn of this news. Martha was one of my mangers when I was fortunate to have worked at Florida Blue as RN Case Manager. She will be sorely missed not only as a beautiful person but her ability to be witty with words, her fashionable wardrobe of clothes she wore and her electric smile.

I had the privilege of working with Martha at Florida Blue. I knew then, by her kind and professional demeanor that she was a special person. Words simply cannot relieve the pain and loss you feel. What a beautiful beautiful soul we lost. I worked under Martha for 2 years and one thing that was clear was how much she loved her family and how proud she was of her 3 children. I could tell she was one of those great moms. And what an example for her kids. She was a go-getter and such an advocate for her team, always!! I remember the photos she shared after Sydney's graduation from nursing school. Talk about a mom floating on Cloud 9! We used to have team calls a few times a week & your mom did a lot of the talking. She would say things sometimes that just cracked me up & had me in stitches. I was on mute so she never heard and I wish I'd told her how she turned my day around on many occasions. One of her sayings was "Oh Lord ya'll!" I'm giggling now just remembering and hearing that silly voice in my head. She could be tough but man oh man what a great sense of humor she had. I know the pain is so overwhelming right now. I pray for your strength to go forward without her here. And that you have faith that you will be together again. God Bless.
