Obituary of Freddie Lee Mc Coy

Mr. Freddie Lee (Fred) McCoy, born December 17, 1948 transitioned to the Land of the Living on May 11, 2021. He was the seventh child born to Willie Henry McCoy, Sr. and Irene Sutton McCoy, both of which preceded him in death as did his son, Freddie Lavale McIntyre and his siblings, Dr. Elizabeth Cobb, Dr. Mildred McCoy, Willie H. McCoy, Jr., Barbara Green and Goldie McCoy. He was educated in the public schools of Duval County, graduating from New Stanton Senior High School, Class of 1966. He also studied at Edward Waters College. He was employed as a Lab Technician at Baptist Hospital, Sealtest and Foremost Dairies. Fred is survived by his daughters Renee McCoy, Reshandia McIntyre and Jirene McCoy; granddaughter, Sydney McIntyre; great-grandsons, Jordan and Jaxon Henry; siblings, Shirley Harrison and Marva McKinnon; nephews, Vincent Cobb (Cheryle), Gregory McKinnon, Byron Green; nieces, Nicole McCoy, LaTasha Green Cobb (Curtis); grand nieceand nephews Tabitha Cobb, Siqueria and Symphonie Green, C.J. and Jorian Cobb; cousins and friends.
