Rev. Coleman was indeed, a gentle man, who always let God's shine through him. He was always ready to share a teachable moment, like he did at Gretchen' s wedding reception. The subject of Job came up while we all were eating, and I learned things that I never even thought of! lol I'll never forget how kind Rev. Coleman was. Sis. Rev. Colman and I have been friends for many years. We would hang together at National Baptist Conventions. I enjoyed partaking together with him and his father and just enjoying ourselves. We laughed a lot. We road to New Mexico together to attend a National Brotherhood meeting. He went because he knew I should go but I didn’t want to drive by myself. We had so much fun together, and became even closer friends. We loved being in the ministry and sharing our pulpits with each other. I will miss him greatly.
