Ruth and I worked together at University Medical Center now known as UF Health Jacksonville beginning in 1981(when I started work there). Whenever she would see me, she would grab me tightly, kiss my cheek and say "my baby !!!!". Not one time but every time our paths crossed at work and away from work. Deloris was a character, made you laugh and had an unmistakable laugh herself. She was also a tough and no nonsense person who could correct you in a manner that you would never know you had been told off..lol. She also had a sense of fashion. Clothes and make up were always on point as you can see in her featured picture. Sleep on Monts ( my work name for her). My girl.....
