Mr. Marvin Lee Snow was born February 16, 1965 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Marvin
Reed and Lucy M. Snow Gibson. He received his formal education in the local schools of Duval
County Public School System, graduating from Nathan B. Forrest High School in 1984.
Marvin Lee Snow, better known as "Snow", enlisted in the Army where he learned various skills,
traveled, met and formed lifelong bonds with his military buddies. Mr. Snow was blessed with
his only child, his son, Marvin Lee Marquis Snow. Upon being honorably discharged from the
Army, Marvin found his calling in the civilian world completing courses to become a licensed
barber. "Snow" was definitely meant to be a barber as he loved spirited conversation on world
views, religion, sports, and most of all, sharing knowledge. He loved family and loved to cook
and invite them over on holidays and weekends.
Mr. Marvin Snow was truly blessed with 58 fulfilling years. On November 16, 2023, God called
him from LABOR to REWARD.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Reed.

(Dremico) of Jacksonville, FL; brothers, Bruce Gilson, Jr. (LiaHoni) of Jacksonville, FL; Marcus
Reed of Erie, PA, Shawn Reed of Erie, PA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other
