Alexis Y. Arline Mitchell was born in Jacksonville, FL, on November 14, 1957, to the late Mattie and Alexander Hailey and went to be with the Lord on October 24, 2019. She attended Stanton High School, graduating class of 1976. She was preceded in death by her brother Johnnie Glasper and sister Constance Miller. Alexis is survived by her children: Nicki Hailey, Ayesha Fullerton, Dawn Arline, Cruz Arline, and Terry Thomas, as well her 12 grandchildren; her sisters: Norris (Dwayne) Mitchell and Donna Seymore. Alexis leaves behind a host of beloved family and friends. Alexis had the personality to light up a room and was instantly the center of attention everywhere that she went. She was a person who had never met a stranger as she made instant friendships and loved everyone.
