Obituary of Valerie D Britton

Ms. Valerie Denise Britton was born March 12, 1959 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late John D. Britton Sr. and the late Rosa M. (Wallace) Britton. She attended local schools in Jacksonville and was team captain of the Raines High School cheerleading squad. She was an outgoing, and loving person who would converse with complete strangers from the park, the bench, to the Hollywood Hills. People were drawn to her because of her charismatic spirit and bright smile. She was a true rock of the family and always had a word of advice followed up with encouragement to push forward. She would always say, "it's not about what you go through in life but how you deal with it." She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Ida M. Jordan; her son, Bobby "BJ" Britton; grandchildren, Ariana Britton, Braylon Britton; siblings, Darlene Britton Ashley, Madeline Britton, Nina Britton Edge, Darryl Britton, Roosevelt Britton and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
